Marriage mission not impossible for the ‘Tom Cruise of Congress’

Congress’s “Top Gun” has finally found his co-pilot for life.
Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), who was dubbed the “Tom Cruise of Congress” when he was tapped last summer for The Hill’s “50 Most Beautiful People” list, is flying high since becoming engaged over the recess.
The congressman, 33, tells ITK in a statement, “Luckily, she accepted.”
The couple seems to share a passion for steering through the skies — they first met in 2004, during flight school for the Air Force. Kinzinger gushes, “Over the years, Riki became my best friend, and I’m blessed to have her in my life.”
The couple haven’t yet set a wedding date.
