Cookie choice: While Shaheen digs Thin Mints, Mikulski can’t pick just one flavor.
Shaheen, a Girl Scout for seven years, starting selling her favorite cookies along with the rest of the batch of baked goods when she was just 7.
Mikulski, a co-leader of the honorary congressional Girl Scout troop, dubbed Troop Capitol Hill, tells us, “Not only do I like the cookies, but growing up as a Girl Scout, I liked the cookie badge — where we learned about entrepreneurship, a lot of interpersonal skills about organizing and marketing. Let me tell you, if you can sell a cookie, you can sell the world and you can sell yourself. If you can do that, you can do anything in this world.”
