What’s for sale: Sen. Jon Tester hawks a T-shirt

By Judy Kurtz - 03/07/12 08:53 PM ET

ITK now proudly presents a new, semi-regular feature where we bring you the wonderful and sometimes wacky items for sale in politicians’ online stores.

Seller of the week: Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.)

For sale: “Make the Senate Look Like Montana” T-shirt

Price: $25

Description: The navy-blue shirt, which the site says is union-made in the United States, bears a yellow outline of Montana and is emblazoned with the phrase, “Let’s make the Senate look a lot more like Montana.” But the lawmaker’s home state is actually looking a lot more like Tester’s face — half of Tester’s grinning mug takes up about a quarter of the entire outline of the Treasure State!

If you see a bizarre, silly or simply inexplicable item being sold by a lawmaker, let us know. Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we’ll publish the best of the bunch.
