‘The Matrix’ actor visits same DC restaurant twice in two days

SPOTTED: “The Matrix” star Laurence Fishburne dining al fresco on the newly opened patio at the upscale Italian eatery Elisir in downtown Washington on Monday afternoon.

Our spy says the actor donned a casual but elegant red shirt as he sat with a friend while sipping on coffee and Prosecco.

No word on what brings Fishburne to D.C., but he must be a fan of Elisir chef Enzo Fargione’s fine-dining hot spot — he was also eyed eating there just two days earlier.
