McCain set to deliver convention speech on his 76th birthday

By Judy Kurtz - 08/28/12 11:49 PM ET

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) will address the GOP convention in Tampa on his 76th birthday.

McCain, of course, had hoped to be delivering a speech this week making the case for his second term. But instead, he will celebrate his birthday by urging the nation to vote for Mitt Romney and against the man who beat him four years ago.

No word on whether delegates will sing “Happy Birthday” to McCain.
