Sen. McConnell: We choose to nominate Mitch — I mean, Mitt

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) briefly appeared to be seeking a big promotion on Tuesday.

When it was Kentucky’s turn to announce its delegates for Mitt Romney on the convention floor, McConnell slipped up and said “Mitch” before correcting himself.
