Perry loses his way at convention

The press almost hit the jackpot Wednesday when Texas Gov. Rick Perry nearly waltzed into their seating area by mistake. 

The former Republican presidential candidate was stopped by a convention staffer before he made it all the way down the hall to the media section of the Tampa Bay Times Forum shortly before the Republican National Convention’s evening speeches began.

Perry turned to his staff and chastised them.

“Why don't y'all know where we are?” he said.

He was redirected and led down to the convention center’s floor.
