Crist stays cool at convention

WE HEAR: Former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist might have had a little help keeping his cool while speaking at the Democratic National Convention.

A round object, thought to be a fan, was seen being carted out right before the Republican-turned-Independent took the stage on Thursday.

To avoid any dewy complexion, Crist has been known to bring his personal fan virtually everywhere.

A local Florida news station showed a behind-the-scenes photo of Crist and his trusty air blower during a 2010 interview with the politician. One of the TV station’s anchors stated at the time, “He travels with his fan just to make sure he doesn’t look sweaty.”
