First lady: When President Obama's away, dog Bo can play in bed

By Judy Kurtz - 09/17/12 01:42 PM ET

Don’t tell President Obama — another male sometimes sleeps in his bed at the White House.

Michelle Obama reveals to Us Weekly magazine that she sometimes lets the first family’s dog, Bo, snooze in the bed “when Barack is gone.”

The tidbit is one of the facts Obama shares in the glossy mag’s “5 Things You Don’t Know About Me” feature.

The first lady also discloses that she skipped the second grade and tried a fried Twinkie while in Iowa.

Obama, who was captured smooching the president on the Verizon Center Jumbotron at a Team USA game in July, says she loves watching sports, adding “especially when there’s a Kiss-Cam involved!”
