Kucinich digs wife’s shorter hairdo

Rep. Dennis Kucinich is definitely a fan of his wife’s shorter ‘do.

Elizabeth Kucinich, who has been married to the Ohio Democrat for seven years, chopped off her trademark long, red locks earlier this year in favor of a chin-length look.

“It was time for a change and I got it in every area of my life,” she explained when ITK caught up with her last week.

Kucinich, who lost his primary to Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio) in his redrawn congressional district in March, beamed of his spouse’s revamped hairstyle, “My wife’s amazing and beautiful and I’m very lucky to be her husband. It really reflects the dynamism and energy which is essential to who she is.”
