White House worth nearly $300 million

President Obama said last month that the housing market is on the rebound — and he would know.

The house he lives in is worth more than ever, according to the real estate website zillow.com.

The White House is worth $296,762,225, the site states, after a dip in August plunged the price to about $271 million.

The estimated monthly mortgage would be $1.15 million and a “rent zestimate” comes in at $1.75 million per month. (And you thought your rent was high.)

Of course, Obama doesn’t own the White House and lives rent-free. But this is clearly good news for Obama’s neighbors.
