On Tuesday, ITK reported the birth of son Jack to Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-Pa.) and his wife, Jennifer. But there’s more!

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) and his wife, Elizabeth, became a family of four on Tuesday when Julia Lauren Nunes was born at 12:35 a.m.

The baby weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and both mother and child are in the hospital and doing well. Julia is their second daughter. Big sister Evelyn Nunes turns 2 next month.

Nunes won’t have much time to celebrate, however. According to spokesman Andrew House, the Golden State congressman is planning to fly back to Washington as early as Friday to cast a “no” vote on the healthcare reform bill moving through the House.
