Grayson’s shipment too big for UPS or FedEx

By Christina Wilkie - 11/23/09 05:58 PM ET

Rep. Alan Grayon (D-Fla.) needs to ship a package. A very big package. So big, in fact, that traditional commercial shipping companies like FedEx and UPS won’t transport it.

Late last week, Grayson’s press secretary, Todd Jurkowski, wrote to his fellow Democratic flacks, “Does anyone have the name of a private shipping company to make a VERY large delivery from Longworth to my [d]istrict office? FedEx and UPS won’t take it. It’s like 4 pallets of boxes. Thanks. Todd.”

In the boxes are 85,000 pocket Constitutions that Grayson wants to send to high school seniors in Florida’s 8th district.
