If you could fire one lawmaker, who would it be?
Oh, no …
What’s your middle name?
Eleanor. I’m named after one of my mom’s best friends.
Have you ever had a near-death experience?
Yes. Not for me to remember; I guess it doesn’t count. Some baby formula [used to be] heated so high that it destroyed some enzymes. [And it made me go] into seizures. I have no memory of it, though.
What’s your favorite place in the whole world?
New Hampshire. We’ve got a gem of a state: lakes, mountains, history and great people. What we don’t have is great weather.
What sports did you play when you were younger?
I can hardly remember my old life. Basketball, tennis — I love power-walking. People always say to me, “Why are you walking so fast?”
What is your staff always reminding you to do?
I always get reminders from my staff: “Have you eaten?” [There’s just] not time!
