Mike “The Miz” Mizanin

Mike “The Miz” Mizanin was first introduced to TV audiences as one of the seven housemates on MTV’s “The Real World: Back to New York.” Since that initial appearance, The Miz made his rounds on the reality TV circuit, including four seasons of the “Real World/Road Rules Challenge,” Bravo’s “Battle of the Network Reality Stars” and as a competitor on a special edition of “Fear Factor.” He began his WWE career on “Friday Night SmackDown.” The “Most Must See WWE Champion” has appeared on “Conan,” “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,” “Lopez Tonight,” Nickelodeon’s “Brain Surge,” MTV’s “The Seven,” Food Network’s “Dinner: Impossible,” “The Soup” and “The Daily Buzz.” The Miz also appears every week on USA Network’s “Monday Night Raw.”
ROBIN BRONK: If you had five minutes in the Oval Office with President Obama, what would you discuss with him? What issue would you like him to know about?
MIKE “THE MIZ” MIZANIN: I would tell him to not be bullied by the Senate or the House. When you have something you want passed, go for it. You are the president, and that is why we chose you. I would also talk about bullying — it’s a big issue. WWE recently co-founded its own anti-bullying alliance called “be a STAR,” so I would encourage the White House to get on board with “be a STAR.”
Now get the economy going.
RB: If you could give President Obama one piece of advice, what would that be?
RB: If you could ask President Obama one question, what would that be?
MM: I would like to know more about taxes and how he can lower them, specifically for me.
RB: What book would you offer to lend President Obama? Why?
MM: If They Only Knew by Chyna. If he can get through that, the economy will be a piece of cake.
RB: If you were going to send the president to one place in the United States for one day, where would that be? Why?
MM: I would love for President Obama to visit my hometown of Parma, Ohio, and spend time behind the counter at my father’s Mr. Hero. Aside from eating the best sandwiches in all of Ohio, the president can talk to real Americans who work hard every day. There is nothing better than eating a hero and listening to the real problems of the American people in Parma, Ohio, to really understand what is going on in the U.S.
RB: Would you ever consider a political career?
MM: I don’t see politics in my future, but if I did, I would be an “awesome” president.
