Swing states get great seats at convention

Delegates from many swing states have great seats on the convention floor in Tampa.

States situated close to the podium where Mitt Romney will deliver his acceptance speech on Thursday include Virginia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

All are battleground states except Massachusetts, where Romney was governor.

Puerto Rico and Arizona have prime spots on the floor as well.

States in the back or toward the back of the venue include Alaska, Vermont, Kentucky, New Mexico and Connecticut.

Of these, only New Mexico is a toss-up in the presidential race.
