The Secret Service told the news outlet that the incident occurred at 1:45 p.m. and confirmed to The Hill that the officer had a minor injury and had been discharged from the hospital.

An officer with the Metropolitan Police Department told The Hill that the incident occurred at 6th and F streets NW, where the MPD officer was conducting traffic control operations.
