Colbert on report that Trump hates everyone in WH: ‘I know exactly how you feel’

Late-night host Stephen Colbert poked fun Wednesday night at a recent report that said President Trump hates everyone in the White House, saying he knows "exactly" how Trump feels.

“I hate everyone in the White House,” Trump told long-time aide Keith Schiller after becoming increasingly frustrated and isolated from his staff, Vanity Fair reported Wednesday, citing two sources familiar with the conversation.

"I know exactly how you feel," Colbert joked in response, adding, "But dislike, not hate — dislike intensely."

Colbert also pointed to a part of the report that said Trump appears to be “unraveling,” expressing shock and saying, "Keep in mind, up until now he’s been raveled."

Vanity Fair reporter Gabriel Sherman said that, in the half dozen interviews with "prominent" Republicans and top Trump aides, "they all describe a White House in crisis as advisers struggle to contain a president."
