Clinton’s D.C. finance team set to meet Thursday

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s (D-N.Y.) Washington finance committee is set to meet Thursday for a campaign briefing from campaign officials, according to an internal campaign e-mail obtained by The Hill.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) and senior campaign advisers Harold Ickes and Guy Cecil are scheduled to attend the Thursday morning event.

The e-mail shares with supporters the campaign’s talking points and Super Tuesday efforts, complete with the subhead “Making News,” which announces that Clinton has accepted debate invitations for Feb. 10, 27 and 28.

The first debate would be on “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos; the second would be hosted by CNN in Ohio; and the third would be in Houston and hosted by MSNBC.

The e-mail concludes, “Polls show Hillary with strong leads and momentum across America.

“This is a race for thousands of delegates nationwide,” the e-mail reads. “After tonight, the race continues through Texas, Ohio and likely Pennsylvania.”
