The singer endorsed Michele Bachmann after a GOP presidential debate in Las Vegas, giving her a hug and a kiss on Fox News as he made his unusual announcement. “I am an entertainer, but first of all, I’m an American, and second of all, I’m a Nevadan, and third of all, I will support this beautiful lady as long as she wants to go,” said Newton, who kept his arm around Bachmann for their entire "On the Record" interview.
