Celebrity endorsements in the 2012 presidential campaign

Gary Sinise 

The actor, who was born in President Obama’s home state of Illinois, would be one of the most coveted endorsements for any GOP presidential contender, but he isn’t on the market for a candidate this year (He endorsed John McCain in 2008). Staci Wolfe, a spokeswoman for Sinise, denied the actor has any political affiliation and told The Hill: "Gary isn't registered with any political party, and isn't endorsing a candidate."
