The "Friday Night Lights" actress is supporting Rick Perry. She told a Dallas-Fort Worth blog in August: "I'm a fan of Gov. Perry. Looking at the field, I'm torn about Mitt Romney or Michele Bachmann, but I think Perry can bridge what all of the candidates have and be the best of all these people. He's charismatic. He's rooted in principle. He has a great record."
