He joined President Obama at a Hollywood fundraiser last month. He supported Obama in 2008 and, shortly after that election, told MTV News he’d love to play the president in a film of his life. “We'll release it at the end of eight years,” Smith said. He noted: "There are so many aspects of that story that people don't know — that people would love to."
