“Oh, you're back. What's your lie of the day?” Scarborough asked Sopan Deb on Twitter.

“You get caught lying then double down and triple down. You know the truth and yet you just can't stop sending out snide tweets. Wow,” Scarborough added in another tweet.

On Sunday, Deb, a former CBS reporter who is joining The New York Times, referenced a Times report by Maggie Haberman that said Scarborough and his co-host, Mika Brzezinski, were among the party’s attendees.

Scarborough also criticized Haberman on Twitter for not calling him to confirm that he was a “reveler.” The “Morning Joe” host said he went to Mar-a-Lago to discuss a future interview with the president-elect.

Amid Scarborough’s tweetstorm,  Chuck Todd also weighed in.

“It really stinks to watch others continue help ruin the reputation of your industry. But fighting each other about only hurts the democracy,” the host of NBC's "Meet the Press" wrote on Twitter, sparking a response from Scarborough.
