Conservative commentator Laura Ingraham scolded President Trump early Thursday for agreeing to work with Democrats on amnesty for nearly 800,000 immigrants who came to the country illegally as children.

"When does American working class w/out real wage increase in 15yrs & who send their kids to overcrowded public schools get amnesty?" asked Ingraham on Twitter.

In another tweet to her 1.71 million followers, she called a pledge for more border security "meaningless."

Ingraham also sent out a tweet late Wednesday night with a play on words on Trump's bestselling 1987 book, "The Art of the Deal," calling the agreement to work with Democrats on immigration "The Art of the Steal."

Ingraham, also a radio host and editor-in-chief of the online conservative publication "Lifezette," is getting her own prime-time 9 p.m. program on Fox News, according to CNN.

A Fox News spokesperson responded earlier this week, however, saying there's "no deal in place" with Ingraham, who has hosted programs previously on Fox and MSNBC.
