Ivana Trump: The president 'for sure' wouldn't be who he is without me

Ivana Trump said President Trump would not be the person he is today without her.

During an interview on CBS News that aired Sunday, she was asked: "He wouldn't be who he is without you?"

"That's for sure," Ivana Trump replied.

She also praised her three children, Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka, saying they were "articulate" and "intelligent" during President Trump's campaign.

When asked who raised the children, she responded: "It was definitely me."

Ivana Trump, who was married to President Trump from 1977 to 1992, has a new book, "Raising Trump," due out on Tuesday.

Ivana Trump also said she advised the president to tweet to get his message across without having to go through the media.

Tweeting is "his new way, how to put the message across," she added.
