Alec Baldwin: Send Trump to a retirement home in Moscow where he belongs

Alec Baldwin joked late Monday that President Trump should be sent off to a retirement home in Moscow "where he belongs."

"Let's make America America again," Baldwin said during an appearance headlining the Iowa Democratic Party's fall gala fundraiser, according to The Associated Press.

Baldwin also did his impression of President Trump, saying he would "make Iowa great again."

Baldwin during the event implored attendees to take a pledge and "come together."

"We've got crucial work to do right now for 2018," he said, according to the Des Moines Register. "We've got party building to do on a scale that perhaps we've never known."

Baldwin, who impersonates Trump on "Saturday Night Live," has in the past raised concerns about the president.

Earlier this month, Baldwin said he himself would make a "good president," but he's not sure his if family would let him run.

“Would I think I'd be a good president? Yeah, I think I'd be a good president,” the actor told an audience at George Washington University.

“To run for office is something that I want to do,” he said, but cautioned that running “doesn't seem to be practical with my lifestyle and my children."
