GOP Main Street pulls in almost $300k

The Republican Main Street Partnership raised almost $300,000 for seven centrist House candidates at an event Tuesday night at the Capitol Hill Club.

Members include Reps. Sen. The amount raised is comparable to the sum from a similar event in 2005.

Of the current beneficiaries, Schwarz faces a primary challenge from conservative candidate Tim Walberg, who has received significant financial backing from the Club for Growth.
