In a series of tweets, the Democratic senator said she looks forward to meeting Garland, reviewing his record and voting on his nomination, though Senate Republicans have affirmed the body won’t take any action on the nominee.

Warren has been outspoken on the issue in the past, calling a refusal to consider a Supreme Court nominee "shocking," according to The Huffington Post.

"If you want to stop extremism in your party, you can start by showing the American people that you respect the president of the United States and the Constitution enough to do your job," she said last week.
