43 arrested in ObamaCare repeal protests at Capitol

Forty-three people were arrested Thursday during ObamaCare repeal protests in the Senate office building, according to Capitol Police.

The demonstrators had planned a “die-in” protest in opposition to the bill.

Images from those present show Capitol Police forcibly removing protesters from the building, some of them in wheelchairs.

 

 

  

 

The current Republican plan to repeal and replace ObamaCare, includes deep cuts to Medicaid programs, as well as the repeal of billions of tax dollars.
