"With a critical deadline looming, Graham and Cassidy, architechs of the Republicans latest healthcare proposal, will debate Sanders and Klobuchar on the merits of the plan that would repeal and replace Obamacare," the network said in its announcement.

The debate will come just days before a possible vote on the bill in the Senate, which would have to occur next week for Republicans to use special budgetary rules to avoid a Democratic filibuster.

Republican lawmakers are optimistic they can get the necessary votes to pass the bill before a Sept. 30 deadline.
