Sunday show preview: Gates's exit interviews and Senate showdowns

Outgoing Secretary of Defense Robert Gates will kick off this weekend's talk shows when he sits down for exit interviews on "Fox News Sunday" and CNN's "State of the Union."

Comedian John Stewart follows on Fox, and Obama adviser David Axelrod is on CNN.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), the ranking member of the Armed Services Committee, will be on ABC's "This Week" to continue the debate over U.S. plans in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya.

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) are on CBS's "Face the Nation," and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) follows.

Two more senators, Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), will square off on NBC's "Meet the Press."
