Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton was projected to win her home state of New York and neighboring New Jersey Tuesday night. The Empire state is a traditional treasure trove of delegates for Democrats in the general election.Clinton's rival, Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.), ran an aggressive ad campaign into parts of the state, including the New York City area. Those efforts could still pay off because of the Democrats' rules requiring the proportional allocation of delegates.
