Dodd, McCain to outline their foreign policy agendas
Posted: 04/10/07 07:58 PM [ET]
Two presidential hopefuls, one from each side of the Senate aisle, will deliver speeches today outlining foreign-policy goals for their hypothetical administrations.

Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) remarks at the Virginia Military Institute will focus on the war in Iraq, which has become a defining issue of his White House run, particularly given his support for the White House’s troop-increase plan.

Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), by contrast, will discuss a multilateral approach in a speech entitled “Beyond Iraq and Into an Era of Bold Engagement” at Iowa’s U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy.
