Former members sign on with Main Street
Posted: 03/12/07 07:32 PM [ET]
Two former senators and one congresswoman have joined the Republican Main Street Partnership, the group announced Monday.

Ex-Sens. John Danforth (R-Mo.) and Warren Rudman (R-N.H.) will join Rep. Nancy Johnson (R-Conn.) on the group’s board of directors.

“Main Street is honored to have these leading voices for centrist politics and policy join our national Board,” group president and former Rep. Charlie Bass (R-N.H.) said in a statement. “Each of these individuals brings a wealth of experience, distinguished records of legislative accomplishment, tireless commitment to public service, thoughtfulness and outstanding personal character to Main Street.”
