Lawmaker’s funeral to be held April 30 |

Rep. Juanita Millender-McDonald’s (D-Calif.) funeral will be held Monday, April 30, at noon in Los Angeles, her office announced yesterday.
Millender-McDonald, chairwoman of the House Administration Committee, passed away last weekend after suffering from cancer. She was 68.
Services will be held at the 2nd Baptist Church, 2412 Griffith Ave. Millender-McDonald’s family members have requested a private interment, and, in lieu of flowers, ask that donations be sent to the African American Women's Health and Education Foundation of Carson, Calif.
