Rep. Darlene Hooley (D-Ore.) announced Thursday that she will not run for reelection this year, joining a short list of Democratic retirements this Congress. “I have decided to pursue different professional opportunities in 2009, and will not be filing for the election to the US House of Representatives in 2008,” Hooley said.
