Snyder to chair Armed Services subcommittee |

Rep. Vic Snyder (D-Ark.) will be the new chairman of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. Snyder will replace Rep. Marty Meehan (D-Mass.), who is leaving Congress this month to become the chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Rep. Susan Davis (D-Calif.) will replace Snyder as the chairwoman of the military personnel subcommittee. House leadership will also have to appoint a new committee member.
