Gwen Graham defeated Rep. Steve Southerland (R) to represent the eastern Florida Panhandle in Congress.

While it’s her first elected office, politics runs in her family. Her father Bob Graham is a former governor and senator from Florida. After earning her legal degree, she worked in the private sector on energy issues. Most recently, she worked as a director for the Leon County School District, resolving labor issues.

Graham lives with her husband, Stephen Hurm, and three children: Sarah, Graham and Mark Ernest.
