Cresent Hardy turned Nevada’s 4th District red, unseating one-term Democratic Rep. Steven Horsford, adding to the largest GOP House majority in decades.

Hardy has been a member of the Nevada State Assembly since 2011, but his public service goes back two decades. He has served as the public works director for the town of Mesquite and was also elected to the Mesquite City Council.

Hardy, a licensed contractor and small-business owner, co-founded the Golf Fore Kids fundraising program. He and his wife, Peri, have four children.
