BP is willfully negligent, continues incompetence

According to reports yesterday, the attempt to cover the Gulf oil gusher with a dome failed because gas crystals clogged the 12-inch hole at the top of the dome. 

BP has demonstrated willful negligence in creating this environmental catastrophe and continues abject incompetence in attempting to resolve it. The government should immediately seize BP’s assets and use them to deal with the enormous and ongoing costs of solving the problem and cleaning up the disastrous, deadly mess it will continue to create.
