Belga to host beer dinner Belga Café, the Hill’s favorite Belgian restaurant, will hold a Belgian beer dinner Monday, June 19.
Hosted with the American Institute of Wine and Food, Chef Bart Vandaele will pair five courses with the ales and lagers offered. The cost is $100 for institute members and $110 for nonmembers, including tax and gratuity.

Summer cocktail comes to 701 To celebrate the arrival of summer on June 21, 701 Restaurant has unveiled the Big Chill cocktail, created with Absolut Kurrant, peach brandy and various juices, which are then topped with a peach-and-apple granita. It’s priced at $9.50. The restaurant’s outdoor patio is now in full swing as well. 701 is located at 701 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W.
New cocktails, wine deals at Dino Dino in Cleveland Park, one of the best spots pre- or post-show at the Uptown Theater, has unveiled a new seasonal cocktail menu.
New drinks include the Cin Cyn, made with junipero gin, sweet vermouth and cynar artichoke liqueur; the CelloRita, a blend of Oro Azul Reposado tequila, lemoncello, fresh lime sour and Damiana liqueur; and the wild-berry mojito. Prices range from $8 to $10.
