Wine dinner on rooftop terrace
Tonight is the Kennedy Center’s November wine dinner at the Roof Terrace Restaurant. The restaurant is joining J. Lohr Winery of California to host a dinner featuring the flavors of the fall. The wine dinner begins at 8 p.m. and is priced at $100 per guest. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 202-416-8555.
Guests will feast on a four-course dinner featuring veal cheeks braised in a chipotle demi-glaze served with black lentils and wild chervil and oyster stew with leeks. The second course is duck served two ways, one in a pâté with pickled onions, another a smoked breast with arugula and raspberry vinaigrette.
And for dessert? It’s Apple Charlotte served with, of course, dessert wine.
