First lady backs Disney's veterans' support effort

The first lady will be at the happiest place on earth on Nov. 14, the company announced Monday, to give the keynote address at the workshop. 

Obama has made supporting troops and their families a priority through her Joining Forces program. Disney is hosting the free Veterans Institute Workshop to inspire other companies to employ servicemen and women transitioning to the private sector.   

It's not the first time the first lady has worked with Disney. She praised the company last year for its commitment to new advertising standards that would promote healthy foods on its channels and at its resort as part of her "Let's Move" initiative.
