FBI releases wanted photos for three men in Benghazi investigation

The FBI on Wednesday posted the photos of three men it says were on the grounds the night of last year’s attack of the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

The FBI asked for help indentifying the three men, who the bureau said could have more information related to the attack.

The photos of the men are grainy and and appear to have come from security camera footage.

The FBI did not say whether the men were suspecting of being involved in the attack, in which four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, were killed.

"We are seeking information about three individuals who were on the grounds of the U.S. Special Mission when it was attacked," the FBI wrote under a "seeking information banner."

"These individuals may be able to provide information to help in the investigation."
