Report: Petraeus getting $200K from college

According to documents Gawker obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, Petraeus will be working roughly three hours per week for the course, a rate of $2,250 per hour. He is also expected to give two lectures and will have graduate students to help with “course research, administration, and grading."

In April, Petraeus was hired by the university to teach the course this fall. The university was attempting to secure funding for his salary through a private gift, according to the documents obtained in the FOIA request.

The retired four-star general who commanded U.S. troops in Afghanistan resigned as CIA director last year after admitting to an extramarital affair with his biographer.
