Public health group slams Rep. Upton in his district

Upton is heading up an effort in the House to pass legislation to prevent the EPA from regulating greenhouse-gas emissions from stationary sources such as power plants and refineries.

The bill was approved by Upton's committee earlier this month. Companion legislation, authored by Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), has been offered as an amendment to a Senate small-business package. It's unclear when the amendment will come up on the Senate floor.
