The Associated Press has the latest on wildfires threatening Los Alamos National Laboratory.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that Virginia’s GOP Gov. Bob McDonnell “sees no need restart a panel that explored climate-change problems in Virginia.”
Bloomberg reports that oil prices are ticking upward Tuesday “on speculation U.S. fuel demand will increase and as OPEC clashed with the International Energy Agency about the need for more oil.”
The Guardian has troubling environmental news from China.
“China needs to reduce food production on its dry northern plains or aquifers will diminish to a ‘dire’ level in 30 years, one of the country's leading groundwater experts has warned,” the paper reports.
