The Washington Post reports that Gore has gone vegan but notes that his motivation is unknown for now.
“It is unclear why Gore, one of the nation's most visible climate activists, has given up dairy, poultry and meat products. People usually become vegan for environmental, health or ethical reasons, or a combination of these three factors,” the Post’s Juliet Eilperin reports.
The story notes that Gore’s decision surfaced in an “offhand reference” in a Forbes magazine story that’s available here. The Post, citing a person familiar with Gore’s decision, reports that Gore opted to go vegan couple of months ago.
