News bites: North Dakota readies for natural-gas boom

North Dakota is set to become a natural-gas powerhouse with production growing six-fold by 2025, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Hess Corp. said Wednesday that it would increase drilling in the state's Bakken formation, Reuters reported.
